Colombo FC won todays opening City League Dvision III match against Slave Island SC played at Cooray Park, Wellawatte. A goaless first half and a frustrated Colombo FC was dissapointing the crowd. But the second half after a bad tackle on Niran Kanishka in the penalty box, gave opportunity to Mohamed Zaid to capitalize the penalty. Niran ended up scoring two more goals and missed a possible third towards the end of the game. A very well played game, has put Colombo FC on top of Group A with 3 points.
